Queen of the Faeries

Riona is a faerie, a Wood Nymph to be exact. She is almost human sized with glorious butterfly wings, pointed ears like an elf, and long flowing red hair. Her piercing green eyes seem to be able to judge your very soul, yet her smile rarely wavers, even in turbulent times. Riona is the Faerie Queen of Reverie and rules from her throne in the capital city of Nym. She is a fair ruler, hearing all sides of a squabble before passing her judgment.

Enemy of the Shadow Court

The Shadow Court has longed to replace Riona as Queen, believing that the faeries must go back to the world and slay humanity, preferably in their sleep. She has defeated every attempt to end her life, and always comes out on top. As such, she has marked herself as their most hated enemy, and they will stop at nothing to find a way to kill her

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

As a faerie, Riona isn't very physically built. She is rather frail and fragile, yet anyone underestimating her will learn the hard way very fast. Her magic is very strong, and her glamours often lead her opponents away without them even knowing it.

Special abilities

Riona is an expert at Glamours, spells cast that fool the mind of those looking at her. She often makes herself appear as another faerie, or even spells that make her seem like she is in another place. Once when attacked by the Shadow Court, she made her opponent think she had been standing near a cliff, but when they went at her they fell to their death.

Personal history

Riona was born a very long time ago and remembers the great spell that took the entire nation of Reverie away. She was very young when that happened, yet the memory is clear in her head. It was a fantastic spell, causing lights to flare and colors to swirl, and then they were all somewhere else. For centuries she grew and when she was 50, she caught the Queen's eye as someone destined to lead. She was groomed then to take the Queen's place, as the realm of Twilight was calling the Queen home to the forever sleep. Riona took over as Queen in 190 SR and has led the faeries ever since.

Sexuality

As a Wood Nymph Riona is highly sexual, as is most of her race. At any Revel she can be found with one or more satyr's or other faeries having wild times with abandon.
