Goblins
These short, vicious, creatures are the result of twisted faeries and dark powers. They are cunning and devious, yet not very bright all things considered. They have no real technology to speak of, and have a hard time using black powder weapons correctly. They live in small gatherings fighting amongst themselves and barely surviving. They reproduce quickly and live in squalid conditions underground, coming out at night to raid the nearby villages for supplies and slaves.

History
Eons ago the faerie King grew jealous of his Queen and started a split in the faerie court. One side was light and happy, while the other side drifted to darkness and spite. The dark faeries grew restless one year and called to the dark powers in between realms to help them. These powers, called demons by some, gave to them a ritual to forever change them for the better. All they had to do was sacrifice the Queen. They kidnapped the Queen and did the ritual, transforming themselves into hideous creatures that had sloping foreheads and brown mottled skin. Their ears were still pointed yet their other features twisted into a monstrous visage. The Goblins were born.

The Wild Tor Tribe
These Goblins are unique in that they have banded together to form a large tribe that no longer fights itself. No one is sure why this happened, but they have lived in the Wild Tor for over five years now and are growing stronger everyday. They have simple weapons yet they have structure and unity, something no goblin ever had. They do not have a single place; no city or nation to speak of, so they are not on any map. They are purely tribal, moving around the Tor and following the food as they go. Mostly the elk and deer that make the place their home.Remove these ads. Join the Worldbuilders Guild
