Ring-Fighting

Description

Ring-Fighting is less of a sport and more of a legal resolution, though it often attracts plenty of onlookers. Some towns, especially in The Protectorate-Commonwealth and the Border Kingdoms, feature a circle in the town square where conflicts and civil disputes can be settled by fist-fight. Stepping out of the ring is considered surrender, as is a vocal request to stop, or being knocked unconscious. Whoever loses is legally obligated to obey the terms of a decision made before the fight began. Drawing weapons, continuing a fight, or otherwise causing excess harm is considered illegal, as well as a forfeit.
