Mindbane

Description

Mindbane is a psychic ailment passed by proximity with the afflicted. It shows those afflicted things that man was not meant to see. Early stages lead to feverish nightmares, but later stages show unrelenting visions causing dissocation from reality, permanent psychosis, and even death. This ailment can arise organically from contact with certain creatures from outside the mortal world, especially The Elder.
