Mad Mage Virus
Description
Mad Mage Virus is transmitted by inhalation, and easily spreads if more than a day is spent around an infected creature. It can also be bestowed directly by a concentrated potion. Its effects activate in battle, and slowly mutates as it grows to understand one's fighting style. It has three stages: Stage 0: When a creature is infected, the virus is stage 0 for all damage types. Stage 1: When a creature deals one type of damage, they proceed to [Damage Type] Stage 1, and they must succeed a DC 14 Will roll or take 1d8 damage of the [Damge Type]. Goes to stage 1 even if the roll passes. Stage 2: The next time this type of damage is dealt, stage 2 is entered. Succeed a 14 Will save or take 2d8 damage of [Damage Type]. Stage 3: The next time this type of damage is dealt, stage 3 is entered. Again, must succeed a 14 Will save or take 3d8 damage of [Damage Type]. The parasitic aberration manifests (even if successful). Whenever a creature uses a different type of damage, the disease reverts to stage 0 and proceeds to stage 1 for the new damage type.
