Calchester

Calchester is the colloquial, and historical, capital of Montbay. It is the home of the Grey Parliament and a frequent recipient of retribution from Montbay's monarchy, resulting in a permanent (and unwelcome) garrison of Crown Guard within its walls. Calchester's residents are primarily artisans, factory-workers, and service workers to the nobles and sizable burgher class, as the city is a major trade center for the Barisean Vesseleers.
