Located in the Alpha Centauri system 4.37 light years away from Earth on a planet with a red sun Population: Over 6 billion planet wide, a mix of Kryptonian and Daxamite population

Culture:

Like Krypton before it Argo operates on a Guild system, but unlike Krypton, anyone whether part of a House or not may enter one of the six Guilds as an apprentice to learn that Guild's trade or may pursue any career they choose outside of the Guild system without recourse. Each guild has their own council and each guild has a member on the High Council to make up one part of the governing body.
The Six Guilds:

• Science: The Guild of scientists, doctors, and more
• Military: The Guild of police, army, and protection
• Lawmakers: The Guild of lawyers, judges, and politicians
• Technicians: The Guild of engineers, electricians, and operations officers
• Artisans: The Guild of painters, sculptures, and craftsmen
• Clerics: The Guild of priests, historians, and religious experts

While Houses (such as the House of El) still hold esteem they do not have the same social superiority over those without a House as they did on the days of Krypton. Everyone regardless of rank may now enter guilds, vote, hold land, and various other rights now protected in the Constitution of Argo. Anyone, part of the Lawmakers Guild or not, may run for office and no longer are any seats of the senate guaranteed to someone of a House. Any senator, regardless of rank within the senate, may be elected by their peers as one of the two senators known as Consuls who take lead and keep order within the senate. No position may be occupied for more than a few years at a time and must wait a certain amount of time before running again, should they have not exceeded their amount of term limits.
