Describing Colors

Sometimes I find it hard to find the name for the color that I want to use in my writing. I find this particularly challenging when describing skin tones. Something I find helpful is looking at the names of colored pencil colors.

It can also be helpful to look at the color names giving to coding colors

There are plenty of other places to look: paint, fabrics, varnishes... any product that sells things by colors is a potential way of considering and describing colors.
