The Honeybees

The Honeybees are the embodiment of beauty and grace. Of sex and desire. But also fate and death. Pain and suffering. The bees are inhumanly attractive, seductively charming, and uniquely deadly. Rumors abound of the Honeybees and their methods of obtaining perfection. Do they drink the blood of gods? Do they sleep with angels? Make deals with demons? Only the Queen Mother knows, and she isn't likely to tell.

Structure

Madame Bluthe is the Queen Mother. These days, she mostly handles the financials of The Honeypot, as well as any dealings with major partners. The Regent Bees, directly beneath the Madame, consist of Xana, Melanie, Aiko, and Anastasia. Xana and Melanie are over the Bumblebees, the courtesans. They are the faces of The Honeypot, attracting customers and dealing with all the contracts between the patrons and bees. Aiko and Anastasia are over the Killer Bees, the assassins. They handle hit contracts and personally vet any new Killer Bees. Directly beneath Xana and Melanie are the Nectar Bees, the trainers of the fresh Bumblebees. Directly beneath Aiko and Anastasia are the Mason Bees, the squad leaders and trainers of the initiate Killer Bees. Then there are the Killer Bees themselves. The contract killers and spies. They have to train as Bumblebees before learning the arts of the Killer Bee. While not necessarily beneath them in the hierarchy, the Bumblebees are predecessors to the Killer Bees, and most don't even know of the Killer Bees activities. Separate from all this, but still beneath the Queen, are the Pollen Bees, those women who aren't cut out for either sex work or killing. Instead, they run the kitchens, cleaning and janitorial duties. Beneath those are the Sweet Bees, the serving staff consisting of girls who are too young to work as Bumblebees.
