Kallista

Kallista is a minor character. She a Nereid , or a sea nymph, and works as an assistant librarian and archivist at the Institute.

Although a creature of water, Kallista is land-dwelling by choice. However, that choice comes with consequences—walking on land is difficult, so she needs to use a cane to walk about, and must wear spectacles, as her eyes aren’t entirely adapted to the surface.

She is a cameo of one of the author's best friends.
