Genetics and Reproduction

Quarter bloods are able to have children with all other species. They stop aging at 20 until they reach approximately 100, at which point they age approximately one year every five years for males (resulting in them looking 80-ish at the time of their death) and one year every six years (resulting in them looking 70-ish at the time of their death) for females. Those who choose to Settle into immortality will not age at all, nor will they ever die without intervention.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

On their fourteenth birthday, all quarter-bloods, no matter their ancestry (celestial, vampire or sunwalker) go through the Awakening, which is when their enhanced abilities manifest. Any additional powers will manifest after this.
For the next three to five years, although quarter-bloods can tell when their power is overwhelming them, they generally have very little control over it as it mostly reacts to hormones at this stage.
The Settling happens between seventeen and nineteen and this is when their power is increased and they gain greater control. Those with additional abilities (*below) may also choose to become immortal at this point.
For most, 'powers' equates to healing, agility, speed, strength, stamina and senses which are far beyond the human capacity.
For a rare few, 'powers' equates to a shifted form or an elemental manipulation ability as well as these 'common' powers.*
For even fewer, 'powers' equates to both a shifted form (not necessarily fully shifted) and an elemental manipulation ability as well as the common powers.*
