The newer recruits to the agency speculate that she was a swordswoman or an artist first. Agency veterans know better than to ask, not that it matters.
For anyone who has gotten to know her on more than a passing basis, Carol has 3 states: sleeping, one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet, or the last thing you'll ever see. Nobody has ever told of that last one, but more than 1 instance of security footage has perfectly demonstrated that point.
Getting to know her is a feat of its own as she is extremely shy, but those who manage are rewarded with a delightful and loyal, albeit somewhat dangerous, friend.
