Divine Magic

Divine Magic is magic powered by the faith of the Divine Caster. Priests, Sages, Prophets Clerics and Paladins are what commonly springs to mind when Divine Magic is considered. Divine Magic is the most commonly accepted historically but Divine Magic isn't as easily replicated and examined as Arcane Magic. Divine Magic is distinct from Primal Magic because it relies completely on the caster's conviction in their beliefs and the adherence to their Dogma and Strictures associated with those beliefs. If the caster's belief falters or weakens then so does the magic they can call on.

Historically Divine Magic has been the most socially accepted but there is no one religion that Divine Magic does or does not work for and sufficient faith and adherence to Dogma and Stricture can result in Divine Magic. Therefore Divine Magic can not be used to designate any "One True Faith.". In modern times, Divine Magic can be used for combat purposes but most discovered spells are used for healing and protection. Divine Prayers of 5th level and higher are rare and Miracles of the highest level are usually signs of a Great Prophet that will usher in some form of change to mankind.
