Hilde vos Stolburg communes with Bahamut

A young scholar from Trichthaven learns to devote herself to a god, who begins to visit her in dreams.

Hilde Vos Stolburg was a young acolyte studying old religions in hopes of discovering the source of the Darknesses power. Her obsession provided the god Bahamut the opportunity to commune with her and relay the concept of devotion to her. After applying the concept to a ritual of prayer, she begins to receive Bahamut's power. She soon discovers that her new gifts are effective at neutralizing the darkness. She then recruits three others with religious inclination and instructs them in devotion. They become the first Clerics and establish the Chapel of Light. They are joined by 5 warriors who applied a more stoic oath to the devotion technique. These became the first Paladins.
