Lord Therin Alexander Greystone (a.k.a. The Cornerstone)

The elderly patriarch of the Greystone Family, Therin has led a storied life. Originally hailing from Bristol, He was a commoner who enlisted in the navy and worked his way up to captain at the age of 45. At the age of 47, with funding from Arlessa Eldridge, he became the second man to circumnavigate the world. He settled in the Rift with his Sacelean wife Esmeralda and began building his plantation with the fortune he had made on his travels. After his late wife's death, Therin handed his families affairs to his son. There are rumours that he has had disgust with his sons shadier practices and ventures, but he has remained at his Manor nonetheless.
On his travels; Lord Greystone scoured the globe in his prime and discovered an inert Cornerstone, an artifact that is tied to the Keepers. Holding it gives a user the ability to see the future, but only if it is lit up. After the events at hollow hill, his lit up. He summoned his allies and the pirate known as Nethalia 'Regal-eyes' Morgaine, with the intent of giving it to her.
Alas, Lord Therin underestimated his sons ambitions and could not deter him from aligning with the disciples of Ser-Naggoth. After bequeathing the Cornerstone to Nethalia, he led her and her guard to a hidden exit where they fled. Staying behind, he lit his reliquary aflame and then ingested some nightshade essence. Confronting his traitorous son, he proclaimed the end of his house and died: a sad end to an illustrious man.
