Dagger of Queen Linette The Messenger

This dagger belonged to Queen Linette The Messenger, wife of King Ingelram of the Winter. Queen Linette was a very jealous woman and did not aprove of the King seeing other woman, this lead to her demanding a mage make this dagger for her in order to give the woman who slept with the King a painful death. However as time went on she not only killed or had killed the woman and concubine that slept with the King but also those who gave him lustful eyes. It is believed she killed hundreds of woman and about half of the concubines of the city. It is due to this Queen and her actions that the maids of the Castle and Court women use a veil to hide their eyes.   You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon.   You can use an action to cause thick, black poison to coat the blade. The poison remains for 1 minute or until an attack using this weapon hits a creature. That creature must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or take 2d10 poison damage and become poisoned for 1 minute. The dagger can't be used this way again until the next dawn.   Proficiency with a dagger allows you to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll for any attack you make with it.   Notes: Damage: Poison, Bonus: Magic, Poisoned, Damage, Debuff, Combat, Finesse, Light, Thrown
