Shrimp Heaven

Shrimp Heaven is the informal name given to a small portion of the divine plane which is mostly populated by believers of the caecalian minor religion known by outsiders as the Starry Wisdom Cult.
Within their circles, Shrimp Heaven is known as Shista-havon, literally translated from standard Caecalian as "in possession of Shista", with Shista being a major god in the Starry Wisdom pantheon. Shista most often manifests as a large five-legged spiny crab with the head of spider.

History

Mainstream caecalian historians believe that the Starry Wisdom Cult began several hundred years ago as a countercultural syncretic religion formed by the intermingling of more mainstream caecalian and star-spawn religions. As with all known afterlives, Shrimp Heaven came to exist as its believers continued to bring it into existence.
The god Shista came to reside there later, having moved from an adjacent heaven. As the number of Starry Wisdom Cult followers grew, Shista became able to manifest on the material plane. After doing so, it is said that the god procreated with a caecalia, having a single child. This child became the prodigal figure of the Starry Wisdom Cult, being known in caecalian as the Shista Cristo, literally translated as "the one anointed by Shista". Due to mondegreen, Shista Cristo became known as "Shrimp Christ" in common, similar to how Shista-Havon became "Shrimp Heaven".
