samebito

Samebito (also known as shark people, sharkfolk, and shark-kin) are finfolk that have the bodies of sharks, with humanoid necks (with which to turn their heads with more flexibility than normal sharks), humanoid arms, and humanoid legs. They may live among merfolk society (merfolk and samebito are mostly allies) but tend to be solitary and live slightly deeper in the ocean. They often compete with directly with Cecaelia for food, shelter, and resources, making the two enemies (and therefore Cecaelia are enemies to merfolk as well). Like merfolk, samebito can survive on land without much trouble for a certain period of time, but it becomes more difficult the more time passes.
