Conductor

Conductor is a character subclass of Bard. They typically conduct music, flowing energy through it which can inspire others in the heat of battle, among a number of other effects. A master-level conductor is known as a concertmaster.

The most advanced Conductors, known as Concertmasters, can conduct the very lives of people, beasts, and monsters as functions of the rhythms of their hearts and nervous systems. They can even force others into song in this manner, which can be used to create flash mobs and musical episode-type effects.

• The Beat of Your Heart — Gained at level 10. The user can, once per long rest, manipulate the BPM of an individual's heart when that individual is within line of sight and within sixty feet. The effect is active for two minutes, and the modulation able to be produced depends on the size of the heart. For normal humans, this can decrease or increase BPM by 10-40, depending on the outcome of a 1d4 (1- increase/decrease by 10, 2 - increase/decrease by 20, 3 - increase/decrease by 30, 4 - increase/decrease by 40). This effect does not work on creatures with multiple hearts, no hearts at all, undead, and creatures with significant magic resistance.
