Auberon Academy

Auberon Academy, also known as Caer Sidi or Caer Siddi, is one of the seven Șolomanță. It is located on the isle Emain Ablach in Otherworld. Because of the island's location, it occasionally fades in and out of the material plane, making it accessible without planar travel.

History

Legends speak of Emain Ablach being the location of a garden where the first elves thrived, as descendants of the Fae. Various elven religions describe a fall from the island resulting in their presence on the material plane.
Mortals from the material plane first accessed Emain Ablach via the Caer Sidi Expeditions around one thousand years ago. Using previous reports of the island, they plotted out and mathematically showcased where its next arrival in the material plane would be. One of those aboard, the young wizard Ynys Wair, was fascinated by the elven ruins he found, and decided to stay when the island was pulled back to the Otherworld.
It was following those events that Wair supposedly founded Auberon Academy, naming it after the famed Otherworld king.
The valedictorian Rider from Auberon Academy gains the steed Jabberwock, a hideous dragon mutated by the Feywild. It is thought that the Jabberwock arrived at the island of Emain Ablach in a similar manner to that of Ynys Wair. However, it has also been claimed by some religious scholars that the Jabberwock was formerly an intelligent being which lured the elves away from Otherworld and was trapped on the island as the result of a being cursed by the Fae.
