aqrabuamelu

Aqrabuamelu, also known colloquially as scorpion people or girtablilu, are a sapient species and a subtype of arachnid, species which have characteristics of spiders or scorpions. Aqrabuamelu have the heads and torsos of humanoids, and the bodies of scorpions.
They tend to be solitary and nocturnal, living among other species, but some construct intricate small towns in shallow caverns. They typically form alliances with jorogumo. Aqrabuamelu form a number of distinct tribes with different cultural practices and customs.
Adult aqrabuamelu tend to be around 13 feet long and weigh about 800 pounds. Oftentimes, this makes it difficult for them to integrate into places not built for them, being relegated to barns and stables when entering settlements prioritized for smaller humanoids.
