The Mountain that Travels

The Mountain that Travels Far is an ancient beast, of which has been in Terr'aina for it's entire history. The Mountain is a huge rocky beast, which is shaped much like an Armadillo, with several spines made of rock and of massive proportion protruding on it's back. It is difficult to comprehend it's size, as it is easily the size of an actual mountain, with an ecosystem completely separate from the outside world on it's back. The Mountain rarely moves, and never quickly, with it's steps being very careful and light for a creature of it's size. It is said that the Mountain is a kind creature, which has enough power to even be a minor deity, but is content to remain in the empty areas of Terr'aina.
The Mountain that Travels is not the only of it's kind, or so it is said. It has been said that some of the tallest mountains of Terr'aina are The Mountain's siblings, and that they will awake from their slumber when Terr'aina is threatened. However, during the The Period of the Ocean's Expansion, not even The Mountain that Travels intervened.
