Astroism

Astroism is possible the most outlandish religion to the people of Ealamkha'fif. It is also one of the least common religions, being considered a cult rather than a full-fledged religion to some. However, recent discoveries hint that Astroism's claim to being the most ancient religion may be true. Regardless, Astroism is a slippery concept and religion to grasp, and warrants some merit as an alternate or accompanying religion.
Astroism, in the simplest terms, believes in a concept referred to as The Beyond. The Beyond is something that exists beyond the boundaries of the world, and that dictates to true nature of the universe. Whether it is even alive as we understand life is not known, nor important to Astroism. The true goal of Astroism is the enlightenment of this, and other concepts. Understanding The Beyond, its subtle messages in the shining stars and what it means for Ealamkha'fif, as well as if people are even special to it. Meditation, star study, and pilgrimages to places that practitioners believe may be significant are all things Astroism deems important, but not completely necessary to obtain enlightenment. All that is necessary is true enlightenment and the understanding of The Beyond

When The Beyond accomplishes its task, or the people of Ealamkha'fif become worthy, Astroism states that all will become one with The Beyond and live in a pseudo-existence. It is because of this that Astroism is tolerated by many despite it's strange ideals, as Astroists believe in supporting and driving for advancement across Ealamkha'fif, inspiring people to become as best as they can. In this, Astroists derive much pride, yet they praise tolerance of other religions. While Astroism is, to them, the true nature of the universe, this does not mean that worships of beings or ideas that have much more sway in daily life is heinous in nature. Rather, it is a respect and worship of just a small part of The Beyond.
