Ankh
Ankh is one of the most celebrated, yet simultaneously reclusive deities. She is the goddess of vitality, a mother to life and subject of a great many festivals and holidays, even across realms. While she is primarily an Aeravan deity, the concept of vitality is far from limited to the sky. She is portrayed in a variety of ways, yet she always has spectral wings in the shape of her holy symbol, and a bundle of pulsing magic originating from where her heart would be. However, despite the almost universal love of her, she makes few to no appearances, apparently content to let human matters remain human.
Long ago, two isles crashed into each other. These isles were teeming with life, both fauna and people. The two isles were conjoined, and the wilds of both began to grow and spread, becoming even more robust due to new land. Ankh loved this land, and watched over it fondly. It represented vitality in it's purest form to her - growing stronger despite what should have ruined it. However, the people on these isles did not take long to grow in conflict with one another. As they fought in the wilds that divided them, the forest and life within was torn apart by these wars. Ankh watched in horror, and eventually could watch no longer. She decided that if people could not respect life, they did not deserve to live with it, and she split the isle in three. Two for people, full of vitality, yet violent. One for the wilds, the most pure life. Ankh could not bring herself to hate people, as they were living beings. Yet she could no longer love them, and certainly not forgive them.
