Aika Peppers

Aika Peppers are a unique Aeravan delicacy, adapted specifically to survive on small chunks of land. Very similar to a traditional pepper in basic shape, Aika peppers also have 4 fin-like flaps running down their sides, which act as natural Swoop absorbents. This provides the nutrition that the peppers need to survive, and allows them to almost be weightless in the air. In terms of flavor, Aika Peppers are moderately hot, with a slight bitterness, followed by a sweet aftertaste. Often used to make curry and stews, the pepper itself is completely edible, with the fin-like growths often being used as a garnish that packs a punch.
