58: Ride to Hell

General Summary

After several days moving between Mill-Town and Calodros, the party continues collecting intel on Morgard's military objectives and decides to reach out to Ambassador Adalyn Bellfaunt in an attempt to slow down Morgard by bringing to light evidence of infernal dealings that undermine its legitimacy. Ataraxia's follow-up meeting with The Broker is the pretense to highlight that relationship.

At the meeting with Ambassador Bellfaunt seems to double-down even after seeing the Broker, through Constance Verindin as a conduit, summoned within an infernal circle. To the shock of her party members, Ataraxia decides to make a deal for power to take down the Voidbringer and Iymrith in exchange for her soul, but with another fiend. As part of the deal, Ataraxia kills Constance and gets herself and the party whisked away to the Nine Hells by Eve, who referred to the cleric as 'granddaughter'. Meanwhile, Njeri has received the signal to start their attack on the Morgardian navy in Whalestone Bay.
