06: The Bigger Picture

General Summary

The party returns to Auntie Olga's hut where they investigate the documents they retrieved. A map of the Ulmark with 3 X's noting locations where pieces of the Vonindod are found. One X is in the Trollfen, one X is in Xhuveria and one X is in Illnorn's Crest. An accompanying letter addressed to the fire giant dig crews provides instructions on locating the Vonindod pieces, includes lofty ambitions of claiming the 'Wyrmskull Throne' and requests that the writer, "Y" not be forgotten.

The next morning, Auntie Olga shares Harshnag's last known location, which is southeast across the Brunlake. She also points the party to where bog iron deposits can be found, warning of a Flail Snail known to be attracted to the ore. The party travels through the Trollfen and finds the Flail Snail's trail, ultimately defeating it.
