Legends say the world of Eada sits in a space between all realms, formed when the veil separating all dimensions compressed and endowed this new world with qualities and features from them. In the beginning of its creation, when the veil was at its thinnest and the inhabitants unique to Eada sprang anew, powerful titans from the other realms ventured into Eada's boundaries and soon warred for control over their new discovery.
What the lands looked like before these great battles is unknown, but it is widely believed that the power of these titans' created and destroyed mountains, cut valleys into the ground, and pieces from titans defeated in battle formed great beasts that would continue to terrorize the peoples of the world. After generations, maybe eons, of this destructive behavior, the Gods of the Higher and Lower Realms became involved.
Discovering that Eada served as a mirror dimension, and that anything that effected it would ripple to other realms, the Gods of all alignments temporarily set aside their differences and formed an alliance to banish the titans to their own realms, or destroy the ones who resisted. After ridding the lands of these giant menaces, the veil was strengthened to stop them from returning. Unfortunately, the damage was done, and the world had been reformed by the destruction left in the titans' wake.
In the current age, there are 3 known continents in Eada, but the seas are vast and largely unexplored and the continents themselves full of danger and mysterious remnants of ancient civilizations. Cultures are extremely diverse, as are the sentient races that live within them.
