Poly Priest Party Purging Possessed
It took a while for the woman to calm down enough to speak clearly: "They stumbled into the village from the east. At first I thought it was just the normal occurrence of wandering dead, so I payed it little heed as I saw a few of my friends approach with swords drawn. Then ..." The woman sobbed loudly and Iris put an arm around her shoulder and moved stray hairs out of her face. She continued after a shaky breath: "When I looked back three of my friends were walking menacingly towards me with their shirts torn and covered in their own blood. I ran and didn't look back." Tears began rolling down her cheeks that Iris dried off with her handkerchief as Axel and Erik took a step back to discuss what they had heard.
"Sounds like slashers or vengefuls." Erik considered Axels words then replied: "Hmmm. Both are plausible. We'll have to hurry either way." "Agreed." They turn to Iris who by this time had managed to calm the woman to the point of serenity. Iris captures the woman's attention and starts speaking gently: "We need to hurry, but I want you to go to the temple in Hallfeld and inform our daughter, Dakky, about what is going on once she comes back from her adventure." "Of course. How long do you think it will take you to clear the burden from my village?" "No more than a few days." The woman nods, stands up and after saying goodby starts walking towards Hallfeld.
The three priests went the opposite way with haste until they arrived at the edge of the village. It was not large, with only a handful of buildings at the roadside, with fields of wheat and corn beyond. No people greeted them, but sounds of crows and growns wafted over the wind alongside the smell of faint iron.
A few seconds pass as the priests take in the sensations. Slowly they ready their weapons and check their armour before carefully stepping forwards, towards the village center.
