Max was brought up as the first son of the leader of Glynneath. As the eldist of 2, with a younger brother, he naturally inherited the mayor role in Glynneath. His brother, Channing, serves as Max's right hand man. Their father was a kind and benevolant man, but their mother was crule and harsh, which is where they learned to be so tough.

Education

The local schoolmaster tutored them privately when they were at a young age. They were tutored privately because their parents were worried that Max would do something mean to another student, thus ruining the Waligi's reputation.
