Gnimini / Gnomes

Gnimini are the shortest-lived of the Small Folk, having only about the same average lifespan as Humans. However, Gnomes are known for their incredible intelligence, wit, and cunning, and as such, typically achieve an enormous amount throughout their lives when compared to their Human counterparts.

While Durgir typically do not get along very well with other races, Gnimini are far from isolationist, frequently travelling the world and seeking to understand and integrate with other cultures. Knowledge is the ultimate prize to a Gnome, as their culture teaches that knowledge is the only commodity that can take the form of a shield, a weapon, and a map to the world all at once. Gnimini can be found anywhere something new, interesting, or complicated is happening, seeking to involve themselves amd learn all that they can, whether for personal or professional reasons.

Gnomes are genetically compatible with Dwarves, and the offspring of the Mountain Folk and Gnimini are known as Fleetfeet, or Halflings.
