Felidae / Tabaxi & Leonin
Like the Shellfolk, Felidae tend to stick to close-knit communities of their own kind. Unlike the sprawling Shellfolk villages, however, Felidae tend to live in nomadic clans comprised of a few small families, with most clans belonging to a much larger tribe. Felidae tribes tend to only convene a few times per year and during wartime, and so their lives are often individualistic and closely concerned with the affairs of their clan. Those Felidae who do not remain with their clans tend to gravitate toward cities, usually seeking out a found family among performers, artisans, or criminal organizations.
The Felidae species exhibits sexual dimorohism; the females have a discernably different appearance from the males. Female Felidae tend to be slender, lithe, and shorter in stature, while male Felidae are usually much taller, broader, and more muscular. Both male and female Felidae may take on any role within their clan, and each clan is mutually guided by one male and one female, regardless of their relationship to each other.
