Durgir / Dwarves
A long-lived and hearty people, Durgir come from a proud culture centered around trade and survivalism. Known for making their homes on, inside of, and even underneath mountains, Dwarven settlements are usually filled with strong stone buildings insulated carefully against wind and snow, or meticulously reinforced to prevent tunnel collapse.
Dwarves are deeply distrustful of anyone with connections to the Fae, especially Elfyn, and very few possess the disposition to coexist alongside other mortal species, preferring instead to remain among their own people. Those Durgir who have made a name for themselves in the world outside their home settlements have often done so as warriors, financiers, and entrepreneurs, more often than not retiring live out the ends of their long lives back in the lands from which they hailed.
