Kharza (The Western Continent)

The continent of Kharza is not quite so large as it’s eastern brother, but it is twice as wild, hostile, and deadly. The temperature is universally hot: dry-hot east of the central mountain range (the Sunset Mountains) and humid-hot on the western side. To the east- endless desert and scrublands. To the west, labyrinthine, monsoon-ridden jungles. Not many people attempt to settle this harsh and unforgiving landscape. Most humanoids live in nomadic tribes, fighting to survive in every way possible. Others build towns along desert rivers and underground springs or atop jungle trees, heavily fortifying them against the barbarians and beasts who constantly threaten them.
