Starting your character

The Basics

1. Determine your sex by rolling 1D100 against the top row of the Sex table. Check the appropriate box for Gender on your character sheet.
2. Determine your Genetic Type by rolling 1D100 against the Genetic Type chart, based on the sex you rolled. Check the appropriate box for Genetic Type on your character sheet.

1. Roll 2D6 and add 3. Write this number in the Years Training line on your character sheet. This is the number of years you have been in training/business.
   Note: We recommend you start characters no younger than 19. You can reroll 1s.
2. Add 12 to the number on your Years Training line. Enter this number on the Starting Age line and on the Current Age line. World of Dyon assumes you begin your career at age 12.
3. Subtract the number on your Current Age line from the current year of your campaign (see the GM to determine current year). Write this number on the third space in the Birthdate line : “_/_/18_.” after the 18.
4. Roll 1D10 against the chart below. Write this number on the second space in the Birthdate line: “_/_/18_.” (write “10” if you rolled a ‘0”)
