Emburt

Overview

The town of Emburt, or Autumn's Rest, was once the home of Sola and Tunglio, the Valinn of Day and Night. In the years between the Old Ones visits, the two who served as their vessels would spend much of their time in the land that would become Emburt. Whether it was the Valinn or the nature of the land before remains unknown, but what is known is that the land exists in a neverending state of autumn, its days shifting quickly between the twilight of the morning and the twilight of evening. As time passed, friends of the Valinn moved to settle with them, building the town of Emburt and creating the Solsaitur Festival. Today, many celebrate the festival of Solsaitur across Cealla, and many merchants travel to Emburt to wait out the winters in the land suspended in autumn. Moreover, Emburt is on the only land outside of Tracht believed to have lands blessed by either the Valinn or the Old Ones. From this, Cealla's finest beer and spices are produced and many trading companies bid over the exclusive trading contracts offered by the local guilds.
