The mysteries of the universe are as illimitable as the ripples of a disturbed pond. Though the mortal mind may never truly understand it, the Sword Saints that hail from Heavensmount express the beautiful connectedness of every thing through the intricate, telekinetic dance of their Bound blades.
Armament of the Faithful
3rd-level Way of the Sword Saint feature
When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you spiritually bond with a chosen one-handed weapon which becomes an extension of your very being. The chosen Bound weapon is a monk weapon for you and its damage type becomes force. You may create or dismiss the weapon at will as a free action.
Blade Dance
3rd-level Way of the Sword Saint feature
You ride subtly on the cosmic strings that bind living things. After performing an unarmed or monk weapon attack, you may choose to move 10 feet directly toward any creature that you have not attacked this round. If you move in this manner, you do not provoke attacks of opportunity from creatures you have hit this round.
Expansive Self
6th-level Way of the Sword Saint feature
Your telekinetic control over your Bound weapon increases, granting you the following benefits.
Deadly Reach.
When you take an Attack action, you may make one of the attacks with 30ft range instead of the weapon's range. This qualifies as an attack for Blade Dance. The amount of attacks you may modify this way increases to two attacks at 11th-level and three attacks at 16th-level. This attack cannot benefit from Flurry of Blows.
Heavenly Mantle.
You gain the ability to spend 3 ki points to cast Blur as a spell-like ability.
Crystal Mind
11th-level Way of the Sword Saint feature
Your every sense is attuned to the ripples in the astral fabric that make up the universe, giving you additional bonuses.
Lightning Draw.
You may spend 1 ki point to add a Martial Arts die to an initiative roll.
Essence Cut.
You may spend 1 ki point when making an attack to treat your target's AC as 10+ its dexterity. On a hit, the creature takes additional psychic damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
Heavenly Tarsi.
You gain the ability to spend 3 ki points to cast Haste on yourself as a spell-like ability.
Transcendent Edge
17th-level Way of the Sword Saint feature
Your soul brims with energy, and your bond with your weapon has neared perfection. As a cosmetic feature, you may choose for your character to appear to have multiple copies of your Bonded weapon at once, though this has no effect on your attacks or class features.
Your weapon's edge becomes almost vorpal and it gains the Siege property.
Whenever a creature within 10ft of you reaches 0 hit points, you can use your reaction to regain ki points equal to a Martial Arts die.
If a critical strike from your weapon would reduce a creature below 50 hit points, it must make a Wisdom saving throw with a DC equal to your ki save. On a failure, its Wisdom score becomes 0 and it dies.
