Goodbay

The port town of Goodbay lies on the western edge of Abanasinia, directly south of Zaradene. It is in the middle of the trade route between Zaradene and Ankatavaka and reaps great benefits from its location as the majority of coastal traffic passes through it on land and by water. Aside from a bustling market, the town's greatest claim to fame is its renowned bardic college and its comprehensive library of music, poetry, and literature from various cultures throughout Ansalon. Goodbay's current mayor is Lyrissa de Saladano, a shrewd and canny leader who is also the current master of the bardic college.

Goodbay is a fantastic place to get drunk, listen to great music, and meet shockingly handsome people to take back to your quarters. I should know, because that's basically all I did when I was stationed there. Not my finest hour, I admit, but even the stoutest dwarf needs a break from the horrors of war now and again.
