Core: The Technician

Technician: A core identity that harnesses intelligence and technical expertise, with Intelligence as its core stat. It branches into the Arcanist (Wizard), Inscriptor, and Engineer classes. Technicians excel in magical and technological prowess, utilizing their knowledge and skills to manipulate arcane forces, craft powerful items, and repair or control machinery.   Technician Core Class: Arcanist   Arcanists are master manipulators of magic through their extensive knowledge of how the Chaos Particle moves and operates. Arcanists store mathematical formulae and geometry in their minds, and through gestures and focus, are capable of manifesting frighteningly powerful magic. They are capable of learning any type of magic, and seem to be limitless in their overall magic potential. They are somewhat frail, though, and often work best where they can inflict damage from a distance.   Technician Core Class: Engineer   Engineers eschew the use of magic in favor of mastering the practical uses of equipment and crafting. Engineers can learn schematics from any item they disassemble and may then go to craft that item from that point onwards. There are chemical engineers, mechanical engineers, and robotics engineers, each with a very different focus on how they tackle practical problems. They are problem solvers, by trade, and can solve some very dangerous problems through intellect.   Technician Core Class: Inscriptor   The Inscriptor uses a writing implement to create the channels through which they move the Chaos Particle. They may have different approaches to calligraphy, but they have a high degree of magic utility, harnessing magecraft inventions and techniques. They can fulfill a support role quite well but can also dish out lots of damage through their magic.
