Aerial Drones
Aerial Drones are a piece of semi-autonomous robotic equipment that can perform a variety of tasks dependent on the equipment and may fulfill similar roles to the cantrip Mage Hand. They can carry small items up to a certain weight determined by the grade of the drone. They can carry camera equipment that relays information back to a viewing screen. They can also carry small firearms. Aerial drones emit a somewhat loud noise in a 30 ft. radius and are hard to use stealthily but have more offensive capabilities than say, mage hand. Deploying a drone takes an action.
Drones can be controlled by a Remote Controller using a bonus action, either moving or attacking or picking up an item. Roboticists can send commands to run specific programs and subroutines so the Roboticist can control multiple drones or other robotics at once at the cost of either an action or a bonus action.
Once disabled and at 0 HP, a drone can be repaired with the Repair Action and tinkers' tools. The repair action restores 2d6 HP to the drone. Additional materials used in the Repair Action restore an additional 1d6 for each material used, and an additional 2d6 for each component used. The materials or components used in the repair must be the same that were used to craft the drone.
Drone attack rolls are = 1d20 + Proficiency Bonus (if Proficient in Robotics) + Intelligence Modifier.
Drone deployment duration is specified in the equipment info below.
