Gith

Not much is currently known about the Gith, who they were, where they came from or anything about their culture. As far as anybody knows the Gith used to live in the Eastlands and possessed some form of advanced technology but that is about the extent of what is actually known about them. There are inferences that can be made based on the memory of the construct, Pip; the entity, Saskamet Nephkanier; and some archaeological findings of what they looked like and that they had ties to another race known as the Geth'Koz but until a living specimen is found there is no way to truly know how much and to what extent this is true.

Anatomy

In Pip's memories, the Gith he encountered were very humanoid in structure and had a wide arrange of physicality though leaned more towards the thin and tall.

Ecology and Habitats

It is unclear if the Gith had a preferred habitat but given that all their ruins and signs of them have been found in the Eastlands perhaps they had a preference for desert-like regions?

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

It has been briefly implied by Saskamet that like the Geth'Koz the Gith possessed some kind of psionic powers as has the Gith Blade in Pip's possession been described as having some kind of latent psionic power in it.

Conservation Status

If there are any Gith still alive today they would be considered a protected species and great efforts would be taken to help them. As far as anybody knows though there are no living Gith.
