Edrigan
Edrigan (a.k.a. Melchior Anaximander)
Born to a Wealthy (but not Noble) family in the Central Lands. Melchior was accepted at a young age to study Magic at the College of Windgrace. During his studies, he was generally known for being compassionate and charitable, and enjoyed spreading knowledge, trying to make difficult concepts easy to understand for others. Upon graduating, he moved back to the Central Lands to study and teach at The House of Wisdom, where after years of reading and teaching, he would find many references to Necromancy, but could not find any hard information about it. His pestering brought him to the office of the Leading Sage, where he was informed that Necromantic Lore was destroyed by the White Orchids Hundreds of years ago, and that his inquiries needed to cease before unwanted attention was brought to him and The House. Driven by a need to restore and preserve lost knowledge, Edrigan abandoned his name and home to pursue Necromancy
