Black Blade Blight

Black blade blight is a condition unique only to those living stricken by The Black Blade and lucky enough to survive. The condition causes those infected to slowly rot away becoming an obedient undead whom is loyal to whomever is bearing The Black Blade.

Transmission & Vectors

This blight can only be inflicted by The Black Blade and is not contagious to others, even those who make direct contact with the wound though it is not advised that others touch the wound.

Causes

The Black Blade contains a powerful curse to the living that causes those struck to develop a necrotic wound where they were stricken that slowly consumes them from the inside turning them into an undead.

Symptoms

A necrotic wound that never heals and slowly spreads to the rest of the body. Cauterizing or attempting to remove the afflicted area will only spread it further down.
Early stages of the blight causes you to develop a taste for raw humanoid flesh and organs
Late stages include lethargy, lapses in consciousness, greyish cold rubbery skin, and yellow eyes

Treatment

This blight can only be cured by the wielder of The Black Blade removing the blight from you or by consuming a special medicine known as "The Tear of the Goddess".

Prognosis

Death is the ultimate end of this blight followed by undeath

Prevention

Those who are under a Protection from Evil spell when stricken will not contract the blight transversely if The Black Blade is not being wielded by an undead user than the blade also will have no effect.
