Summer Pass

The Summer Pass is the primary connection point between Upper and Lower Aurorium. Although other mountain passes exist, they are too narrow or unstable to allow for wagons and sleds. During the winter, snow packs the pass, making it unnavigable. As a result, trade and passage through the Pass is seasonal, with movement booming during the summer and nonexistant during the winter.

Given the importance of the Pass, the Atathian Legion maintains a fort on the Lower Aurorium side, Castrum Marius.
