Order of the Pegasi

In the early colonial days of Vatalli , the nobles of the city founded a knightly order - the Order of the Pegasi. The Pegasus Knights allowed for the city to contest the air against invading dragons. In the intervening centuries, the city has grown more reliant on condotierri for regular defense needs. Many nobles still belong to the Order, although it now primarily acts as a social club for the elite. Pegasus breeding, training, and riding is considered an appropriate hobby for a noble. In times of crisis, the Order can still be called on by the High Lord.
