The Pirate Sultan, Malik Osman, was a fire genasi. His eyes blazed like flames. He was known for his passionate personality and fiery temperament, earning him the moniker "the Inferno of the Seas". As a genasi, he lived longer than most humans. Stories tell of his bravado.
His innate powers and skills allowed for Al Badir to centralize as a pirate state. He led defenses against invasions by the Trading Coalition and earned the enmity of the Coalition. Malik Osman died in Vatalli, after a failed attempt to steal treasure from the city. Following his death, the pirates disbanded.
