Krath: God of Storms

Krath, the Stormbringer, embodies the turbulent and capricious nature of storms. Born from the tumultuous emotions of Lugus after Mackah's affair, Krath's temperament is as unpredictable as the weather he commands. Unlike other gods, Krath doesn't concern himself with the affairs of mortals, showing ambivalence toward their existence. His sole purpose lies in expressing his anger through destructive forces such as winds, lightning, and hail.   Krath's favor is unattainable, but the diligent performance of intricate rites may serve as a means to placate his wrath. However, the efficacy of these rites is uncertain, for the storm god's anger can be incited by seemingly trivial matters. Often taking the form of a weeping old man, Krath's essence reflects that of an erratic child, driven by unresolved fury with a purpose long forgotten.   The gods themselves, when seeking to mete out punishment, may attempt to manipulate or provoke Krath, turning his unpredictable wrath toward their intended targets. In the intricate dance of divine influence, Krath stands as a tempestuous force, indifferent to mortal concerns but ever-ready to unleash his destructive fury.
