Caislean Deithe

Beyond the realm of creation lies a castle; it sits at the very center of all things, and was once the home of Beakarai and Mazdurah. It was here that the old gods watched creation and reigned over it. The Durahee were conceived here, and it is now the seat of the godly council. The many rooms which once housed each of the Durahee are no longer used, and the castle has been left frozen in time, a monument to the old god.

Purpose / Function

It is the meeting place for the Durahee and their wives. It is where the gods come together to make decisions regarding creation.

Design

There is no way in, for gods need no way to enter. If one must assign an entrance than the court yard would be it. The courtyard is arrayed in greenery of all kinds, containing every species of plant that Mazdurah breathed life into. From the court yard a small door leads to a stone hall way with lofty arch ways, with iron chandeliers burning bright and hanging from the ceiling. Flaming braziers dot the wall every 15 paces. The floor is decorated in an ornate pattern, telling the story of creation and the duel between Mazdurah and Moguroth. The hallway extends in a semi-circle surrounding the main chamber, and in the middle of the hallway there are two great iron doors, 25 feet high and 2 feet thick. Upon entering the main chamber, one is greeted by a chamber with a ceiling so high above those who enter that it cannot be seen, and the walls to the left and right go on past the eyes ability to perceive. 1000 paces straight ahead, on the wall opposite, lies the eternal throne, where Mazdurah once sat. It was shattered when he was cast into the void and now lies in ruin. On the back wall hangs a tapestry prophesying the end of all things; written in a language foreign even to the gods, lest they use it to avoid their own destruction.

Denizens
