Falconridge Academy
Falconridge Academy is the biggest magic school in all of Aweon, it was founded by Ikaraida Nadvir and Lysander Falconridge, as recorded in The Legend of Lysander Falconridge.
The Academy was the biggest growing constitution ever in its founding years as it made a small unimportant village into a bustling city just by its proximity. It was so important for Falconridge Town's expansion that the city and later the Country were named after it, but that isn't the only reason for their names. According to The Legend of Lysander Falconridge he wanted to have his name be remembered, which is why all locations he helped to create involve his name. So to pay tribute to this great mage without whom the Town and Country wouldn't exist, they decided to name both after him as well.
As said the Academy was created by the great Wizard Lysander Falconridge sometime in 1498 aGF together with his Friend Ikaraida Nadvir. After or during the creation of the building that would become the academy Lysander disappeared and continued traveling, leaving the whole building up to Ikaraida.
Just from hearing about this grand building created by one of the most acclaimed Wizards of the time Wizards from all over would come to visit the Academy, and some would decide to stay, becoming the staff of the Academy. Thus Lysander had managed to create a place of learning just by creating the building it would be in.
