Azurali Sea

A large inland sea that hosts half a dozen cities on the continent Obeavos . Most organized civilization began on the banks of this ancient sea, and to this day is a massively important trade rout for many of the good going to and from Obeavos. The sea itself is a major supplier of fish, oil, and salt, with the trade funneled through Selenia providing the majority of each of those resources to the global economy.
The waters of the Azurali are warm almost year-round, keeping the area directly surrounding it a permanent temperate zone. Fish are abundant and large due to a surplus of food and few larger predators. Combined with the well-documented and travelled waters, it is favored as the safest way to travel between coastal cities.
At its deepest, the Azurali reaches 15,000 feet, though the majority ranges between 6,000 - 9,000 feet.
